Project Development Manager
Stuart has been involved in laboratory projects since starting as an Engineering apprentice at 17.
A mechanical engineer, after over 20 years spent working on laboratory projects Stuart is now focused on assisting clients with initial design and ensuring LSS enquiries are dealt with professionally. A big football fan, when he’s not cheering on Hearts he’ll be found coaching his local youth team or watching his son and daughter playing for their teams.
Contracts / H&S Manager
A mechanical engineer, Iain has over 25 years experience in all aspects of laboratory projects.
Iain has also achieved professional qualifications in Health & Safety and is responsible for our Compliance. Out of work he can be found spending time with his two young daughters or looking for his next garage project as he’s a lover of all things Porsche.
Maintenance Manager
An electronics engineer, Steven was previously responsible for failure analysis at an electronics manufacturing facility before entering the world of fume cupboards and fume extract systems.
Since the early 2000’s Steven has been involved in the commissioning and preventative maintenance of extract systems and now heads up the growing maintenance division. Steven’s time outside of the office is spent with his two boys and as much golf as possible squeezed in.
Director
A mechanical engineer, after more years than he cares to remember being involved in delivering laboratory projects, Steve eventually found a liking for assisting clients/design teams with initial design. Which he continues to do today.
A big fan of all things ‘Morrissey and The Smiths’, in recent times weekends on the golf course have been swapped for standing on the side-lines watching his two boys football matches.
Senior Design / BIM Engineer
An engineer with 20 years experience previous to LSS in both ventilation and laboratory furniture, Daryl has taken on the responsibility of developing our laboratory furniture systems and creating a useful reference library for our clients.
Outside of work Daryl enjoys spending time with his son and daughter whilst trying to maintain a single figure golf handicap.
Project Manager
An electronic engineer with a background in manufacturing, Scott’s initial involvement in fume cupboards in the early 2000’s was within manufacturing and product development.
Since joining LSS, Scott has changed tack and now concentrates on project management. Scott’s a big supporter of his local football team and can be found at the weekend making up part of a small crowd on the terraces of the Scottish lower divisions.
